About Dr. Daron Stevens
Dr. Daron Stevens spent more years in post-high school education than many of his patients have spent on earth. Becoming an orthodontist consisted of attending BYU to obtain a degree in Botany and Japanese (he is not sure how these degrees are of relevance either), a dental degree, a rare internship awarded at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research of the National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. (you can cure insomnia and read about his published research in Science magazine here), an advanced hospital residency at the University of Utah (although he routes for anyone playing the Utes unless it helps BYU or BSU for Utah to win), one year of private practice as a general dentist, and a two and a half year masters degree in Orthodontics (more free insomnia remedy via his published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics with a link of the actual article here for those are like me and prefer to read books with pictures), ...a field trip to Mars, touring backup vocals with Van Halen... The last two things were made up but we doubt anyone even reads this stuff so we threw it in. Dr. Stevens is also a member of the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics like many other specialized orthodontists in the Universe. He also enjoys laughing and thinking outside of the box for his own benefit as well as those around him—especially when it comes to orthodontic needs of patients as no two crooked smiles are created equally.
| Our Motto: We want to be the best part of your day! "I always want to keep my practice small enough that my patients feel like they are treated by myself, the orthodontist. We have the best money can buy in orthodontic appliances (braces, wires), equipment (digital radiography and photos, impressions, and hospital-grade sterilization); however, other costs are monitored closely in order to avoid excessive fees for our patients. Our office is clean, comfortable, efficient, and a fun atmosphere with top-notch staff. My patients know they can approach me anytime for any reason. Everything we do is with our most important people—our patients—in mind. Because like McDonald's, we love to see you smile (but in a healthy way—unlike McDonald's?)" —Dr. Daron Stevens Family Photo 2009
